Helping to Improve Business Processes Across Campus

The Administrative Process Redesign (APR) unit reports to the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration and is responsible for supporting and collaborating with divisions and departments across campus to improve business processes.

APR’s mission is to work to create and promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the University of Wisconsin-Madison that supports resource stewardship, improves service delivery, and ensures administrative capacity across the enterprise to accomplish the university’s mission.

Staff in APR are extensively trained in process improvement methodologies, including Lean Six Sigma, Design for Six Sigma, and Kaizen. Other areas of staff expertise include Performance Measurement, Statistical Analysis, Project Management, Facilitation, and Change Management.

Please contact us if you have questions or feedback on past or current APR projects of if you need assistance with a project of your own.
